This post is part of The 30 Days or ARPil event created by Pizza Maid of Pizzamaid.moe. You can find more information about it in here and the 30 questions here. If you are interested on seeing who is participating on the event, there is a block to the right with all blogs that are part of it too. Let me know if I forgot someone or put someone in there by mistake. 🙂
All my answers will be about my character Rakuno, my ratonga monk in Everquest 2. From this point on it will be him doing all the talk!
Question 18: Is your character a good cook? What’s their favorite recipe, whether they’re good or not? (Microwave mac-and-cheese applies.)
I am a terrible cook. I tried to learn it once but never got very far with it. I just know enough so I don’t have to eat soup every day. I wouldn’t call what I make good though. It is just edible. Still better than starving to death.
As for my favorite recipe, it is probably Bangers and Mush. They are easy to make and provide a lot of energy to get you through the day. It is so easy that I think you can just find the ingredients anywhere. At least I think you can find eggs and sausage pretty much anywhere. The way Norrath is, it is quite possible there is some weird plane where it is impossible for those to exist.
Bangers and mush didn’t sound very appetizing, but mentioning it is made from eggs and sausage just made me want to try it. Sounds delicious now… I got to go. >.>
Yeah, the name isn’t all that good. But considering it is a Brew Day recipe (yes, you can craft it in game. It is a house item if I recall correctly) the name is apt. :p
There are food and drink recipes in the game that sounds a lot more scary as far as eating/drinking goes in my opinion. Or that makes you wonder how people thought about using certain things to make food… Probably all troll culinary though that somehow got popular.
