All my answers will be about my character Rakuno, my ratonga monk in Everquest 2. From this point on it will be him doing all the talk!
Question 4: How vain is your character? Do they find themselves attractive?
I am not vain. I mean, I comb my fur and wear clean clothes. Gotta do at least that when dealing with clients looking for some carpentry commission. Besides that all I care about is that the clothes are comfortable. The only time you will see me wearing any fancy clothing is in special occasions like someone’s wedding, a holiday party or if the queen becomes crazy enough that she thinks she has to summon me for a meeting.
As for attractiveness I am just an average looking ratonga. I mean, I never had trouble getting dates. But I also never had girls jumping at me, trying to get a piece of good ol’ Rakuno. The closest I ever got to that was this crazy half-elf girl who hugs me every time she sees me. But she does that to every ratonga she meets. Some crazy talk about it being “Hug a Ratonga Day”. And according to her every day is “Hug a Ratonga Day”. Like I said, crazy. Plus she is a half-elf! She doesn’t count!

Sorry to hear of your past, but sounds like you got plenty of welcome in the great city of Qeynos. Wonder if they’ll change their name to Qekaerbyad.

Indeed, Rakuno did have a good welcome in Qeynos, specially considering how he came from Freeport and all that. I am not getting the Qekaerbyad part though?
The name Qeynos is actually Sony EQ backwards. Now since they are Daybreak, I was joking that they’ll rename Qeynos to be Daybreak EQ backwards now. 🙂
Qekaerbyad = daybreakeQ
Ah, I see! I knew about the Sony EQ backwards story but it never occurred to me they might consider changing the name of the city because of the change in the company name! Maybe they could make an event out of it where the city gets taken over by erudites. That sounds like a very erudite-like name to me!
