Last week I whined about my lack of foresight in preparing for Nerofest and how that affected my ability to grind in the event.
Well, on a whim I decided to give that 3 Turn team composition a try during this weekend. Just to see if it would perform better than the team I was using at the time. Turns out that even with Spartacus second and third skill at level 7 it worked! Well, not "3 Turns" worked but still worked much, much better than my previous team. 🙂
For months I've been hearing in a forum I tend to lurk how Nerofest would be so good. And they weren't kidding! Thanks to the event's lottery I have been able to raise some much needed Servants to their level cap as well as level some skills.
However I did make one terrible mistake. I didn't research properly which servants and craft essences I'd need to finish the petal nodes in three turns. For some reason I thought it would require some combination of very specific servants and/or craft essences that I didn't have. I was so, so wrong.
Onigashima, the event I have been looking forward to, has finally started in Fate Grand Order. Despite my success with Rashomon I was still apprehensive about my servants perfomance due to a lot of reasons.
A lot of people were saying this event was going to be a lot easier than Rashomon but I still had my concerns. I mean in a game like this difficulty can be very relative due to what servants you have available and my roster still needs some work.
Well, turns out they were right. Onigashima is way easier than Rashomon.
The Rashomon event in Fate Grand Order finally started. I was apprehensive if I'd be able to build a decent team to do this event considering how lackluster my roster of servants is. But so far it turned out ok.
From my tests so far the only raid I've been able to clear consistently was the 1 million one. The 3 million I can survive but it can be a bit dicey. Plus I am not being to do much more than 1 million damage.
This Tuesday I finally finished the Seventh Singularity: Babylonia in Fate Grand Order. It was just when the CCC event ended too so I got to use the half AP for almost the entirety of the last two singularities!
Story wise I am still not sure which one I like more, Babylonia or Camelot. Probably Camelot more due to a lot of reasons. But anyway, here are my thoughts on the rest of the Babylonia singularity without any spoilers.
I rarely do longer posts about what games I am playing because I have a hard time figuring out how to talk about it in a way that seems interesting. Even more so when I am going through a grinding phase in a MMORPG or trying to get trophies in a game. Or just jumping through different games trying to find one that piques my interest.
But for the sake of variety and not leaving this blog gathering dust for such long periods of time I am going to try to write these kind of posts more.
So, to begin with let me talk what I have been up to in Fate Grand Order...
