Comfy Questions

List of 26 questions about the person

Since this is a slow week for me in terms of what to talk about I thought I just jump on the bandwagon with this.

I saw it first in the Deez Wurds blog. There is also a post like this on Moderate Peril and on  GamingSF. If I missed anyone else who answered these questions I apologize as I am still catching up on reading blogs. Feel free to link your post in the comments though!

With that out of the way, on to the questions…

1. How do you drink your tea?

I haven’t drank tea in a long, long time. I think since I was a kid, actually. So I don’t know how to answer this? Warm, I guess? *shrugs*

2. Favourite dessert?

Does chocolate cake counts? If so that is my favorite. If not then chocolate ice cream. Seriously, anything chocolate works for me. Except white chocolate. Those I don’t like.

3. Favourite season and why?

Summer. First because I like the heat. Second because there is just something about summer that feels more energetic to me than the other seasons.

4. What cheers you up?

A good uplifting story to remind me that, yeah, life is hard, but there is a lot about it that makes it worth.

5. Dogs or cats?

Dogs. To me dogs are the ultimate honest creatures. If they don’t like you they will show it. If they like you they will show it too. Cats on the other hand I always felt were more self-interested.

6. What is your dream holiday?

One where I don’t worry about something or another which to me might just be impossible considering I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder. That means I worry very easily, often without even noticing it until it is too late.

7. How many kids do you want?

Ideally I’d like to have 3 kids. One is lonely and to easy to spoil. Two would just lead to two much fighting and bickering (in my experience). So 3 just sounds about right.

And yes,  I know this is all situational and has absolute no real logic to it. XD

8. Favourite weather?

A clear, sunny day.

9. What would your last meal be?

Hm. Tough question. Probably chocolate. Lots of it. I mean, if I am going to die anyway diabetes will be the least of my worries. XD

10. You can spend 24 hours anywhere, any year, where do you choose?

Another tough one. I guess this is a boring answer but a traditional japanese inn, with an outdoors bath would be really cool. That or a traditional japenese house. I just find that kind of architecture fascinating.

11. If you were a ghost, who or where would you haunt?

Probably my house. Which come to think of it wouldn’t be too different since I barely leave it anyway. XD

On the other hand haunting would probably get bored pretty fast. So there is that.

12. What is your family ancestry?

Japanese from my mother’s side. Brazilian (and probably a lot of other nationalities mixed in) from my father’s side.

13. What scares you?

I could make a list. But I will just mention my phobia, which is not only annoying but really embarrassing: cockroaches.

See, I got it because when I was a child, I’d go to the bathroom at night and then there would be times where I’d step in and have one crawl up my leg. Or try to find the light switch and then have one crawl on my hand. Or open the drawer where the toothbrush was and find one there. And it was more than once.

If I had the power of eliminating just one animal from existence it would be them. I don’t even care if that disturbs the ecological balance. Those things should never have existed in the first place!

14. What are you most grateful for?

My family. They are still kind to me despite having to deal with 37 years of my insanity.

15. Dream job?

Writer. Unfortunately I am not creative or consistent enough for that. So I have to content myself with writing for this blog.

16. Do you believe in aliens?

I believe in the possibility of aliens. The universe is too big for humanity to be the only sentient creature on it. I just don’t believe they are necessarily more advance than us, culturally or technologically, nor that we might be even able to understand them if we ever met them. It is a weird universe we live in after all.

17. Favourite sports?

I am not really into sports. The closest I’d get to it would be martial arts.

18. How do you relax after a long day?

With games and/or anime. Depending on how brain dead I am. If it is really bad then it is just anime. XD

19. If you could choose one historical figure, who would you choose and why?

Another tough question. Honestly I don’t know. I am not a good conversationalist so I don’t know if it would end up being a good experience for all the parties involved.

20. If you had to be a teacher, what subject would you teach?

Oh, gods. I am terrible at teaching people. It is one of those things that I’d prefer to avoid if at all possible. But if I was forced to do it but had the option of choosing the subject I guess it would be basic computer usage. Which is probably not as popular nowadays as it used to be over a decade ago.

21. Describe your perfect day.

See my answer to my dream holiday. It is pretty much the same.

22. Describe yourself in a sentence.

Just another human being trying to find happiness in this crazy world.

23. Who makes you laugh the most?

I don’t know if there is a specific person who makes me laugh the most. I mean, my friends make me laugh with our silly jokes. So does my family. But I can’t think of a particular person who makes me laugh more than any other. *shrugs*

24. What superpower would you choose?

Yet another tough question. So many possibilities…. I guess I’d be practical and just choose teleportation. It would make life so much more convenient.

25. Favourite animal?

Dogs! If I can’t choose that due to my previous answer about dogs or cats then wolves. Really, any canine is my favorite animal. :p

26. Biggest accomplishment?

I haven’t done anything yet that I consider an accomplishment. Yeah, I know it is pretty sad. But I believe that as long as I am alive I can change that. 🙂
