Games I’ve been playing – February 2023

During February I felt like I was being stretched out as there was a mix of real life stuff I had to help with and stuff I wanted/had to do. Before I knew it the month was over and I barely did any of the gazillion things I wanted to do.

Another side effect of it is because of all the stress I kinda ended up looking for refuge in video-games which turned out to be another reason for me not doing any of those other things I wanted to do.

Oh, well. Such is life I guess. I’d like to hope for this month to be better but I doubt the storm is over. In fact I think it barely started and this year will be one of personal challenges. Hopefully I am wrong about it.

Games I’ve been playing – January 2023

The month of January was just chaotic for me. Everything I wanted to do turned out to take far more time or be more complex than I was expecting. Or both.

To top it off there were also a few events in real life that just made me stressed. The end result was that not only I played less than I wanted to but certain things I wanted to complete this month remain incomplete.

I even missed the New Year’s event in Final Fantasy XIV and Expedition 8 Redux in No Man’s Sky! The first I don’t mind too much but the latter felt like a bummer.

The month of February though is at least looking a little brighter right now. Hopefully this won’t be one of those cases of famous last words! XD

Oh, I am also getting an itch to play Minecraft again which might derail everything even further!

Games I’ve been playing – December 2022

Happy New Year!

I swear December felt like it just flew by in the blink of an eye. Despite not having accomplished every goal I set for myself I still got enough done that I am not feeling bad about it.

It almost got derailed though as I did get an itch to play Minecraft, even installed a modpack to test out but thankfully didn’t get absorbed by it.

I did however spend far more time than I expected in Blue Archive (more about it in a bit).

Another unexpected event was me moving fully from Twitter to Mastodon. My plan was to do it early this year but it was feeling like Musk was changing the rules of the service every week and I just couldn’t stand it anymore.

There is another important migration I am planning to do this year but I am still in the initial stages of studying it. I will post more about it when I have something to show because it is something concerning this blog.

Games I’ve been playing – November 2022

This years has been so weird. I could swear it felt like it just begun not long ago and now here we are in December already!

November pretty much encapsulated that feeling for me. It felt like it just started then I blinked and then it was over. /sigh

This of course affected the games I’ve played this month. I was hoping to at least finish The House in Fata Morgana by now plus a few other personal projects but a lot of distractions happened, both intentional and non-intentional, preventing me from finishing anything!

Anyway, I better stop rambling here before it becomes even more incoherent. Let’s just go to the games.

Games I’ve been playing – October 2022

With the grip that Minecraft had on my mind being forcefully removed, my intention was to spend the rest of the month finishing some games that have been on my to do list forever.

Unfortunately that didn’t happen. The only game I managed to finish was Y’s Origin, with the Hugo route. That leaves only the third route left to play to be completely done with the game (unless I get insane and try to go for some achievements). But for now this game goes back to the proverbial virtual shelf.

What I did end up doing instead was to start some new games… Because of course my mind would want to do that! /sigh
